About the research project

This ARC-funded project is focused on developing capillary electrophoretic instrumentation and methods for the measurement of trace nutrients in natural waters.  These systems will be designed for autonomous monitoring of fresh- and sea-water environments in collaboration with industry partners EcoDetection (https://ecodetection.com). The results of this project may lead to the establishment of new technology for at-site, near-real-time monitoring of water chemistry for agricultural, mining, water corporations and other industries that use and/or discharge water to the environment.
